I love Portland in June
On the historic register: 1926 apt building
On the fickleness
Of the ability to
Be grateful each day....
A searing sore throat:
Once the pain's gone, I'll forget
Until the next time.
2013
My amazing twin
Played a Tchaikovsky solo.
How do I share it?
Saying hello and
Goodbye to the wildflowers.
Next week the woods close.

Haven’t been to the Vista Springs Cafe in decades!
The scent of roses
And whistles of distant trains.
I eat home baked scones.
Low water pressure
Makes filling the tea kettle
A contemplation.
2017
Tonight we're greeted
By two girls in bathing suits:
They're selling "fresh air."
While we walk I think,
Thoughts both airy and deep; yet
I dream of coffee
2016
PT’s pic: Having fun at the air show
Air show moments; can't wait to see PT's pix. Worth the heat exhaustion.

1/8 of the line to the air show shuttle: a 2-hour wait, and we weren't allowed to walk in. Aargh!
2014
Feeling like hell, but
Soothed by a furry purrball...
Better than hot tea.

2011
Hazy green water
Reflecting clouds and mountains:
Roadside rice paddies.
I type to the sounds
Of duel snoring: Carbon
And Dave are napping.
Am filled with love for
The big guy: he says things like
"My foopies are cold."
2009
Am I Dorothy or Auntie Em? Fallen petals spiral upward, trees lie horizontally, and I go outside to check it out when I have a perfectly good window.
