A Day in the Life, 10 years

2019 Longer walk today Lac La Nonne Head-sized. Probably wasp nest 2018 Finally walked all around the lake, no need for snowshoes or gloves. 2 hours. groomed trail, snow packed so I could walk without snow shoes. Stretched along my arm,  His languid furred weight pins me.  I cannot type now. 2017 Karma (dog-next-door) Joins my sunset ritual. She says, "Spill the wine." #ipad'sOK Though life has nuance, It was a black and white day, Except for grey skies. 2014 "What does 'nimbus' mean?" "Not sure, but those clouds are it." Wind pushes us, too. 2013 2009 the usual fabulous family dinner and good conversation. now I'm going to rest up for tomorrow: 1st day on the new job!!!

2018 Sun still high at 6 pm. Walk to the lake, stripes, shadows, feathery ice Sunshine melts snowbanks; Shaded roadsides turn to ice. Stepping carefully. The wheeled carts park while The horses shake out the bells. Saturday shopping. 2016 Another lovely Cloudy sky, in constant flux. I could watch all day.

Small losses sting too, Like the cut from picking up The lovely pieces. 2013 It's more expensive To go the natural route Than to dye my hair. She asked me to write With my non-dominant hand.
