Swirling in small air currents,
Settling so gently

I’m in my jammies,
But I must watch the colors,

In the chill twilight.
I have returned to
The land of amazing skies:

Enchantment indeed.

Limned against the clouds;
Black branches, calligraphy
On a bright background.

Filling the bright blue
O’er truncated Pedernal,
Wind-herded, sheeplike.

Here be dinos.

Leave me disoriented

After the concert
I walk with my face tipped up
To a cobalt sky.
