2019
2 hour hike along Hoodoo/Tunnel Mountain trail
A flurry of wet snow reminds me that it’s April in the Rockies
Hoodoos and the Bow River: the incredible glacial green water is not as evident
Maybe a golden eagle: folks with binoculars saw one a few minutes earlier
really REALLY windy
REALLY windy
It’s windy
2018
I show my passport;
I’ve overstayed my welcome
By two travel days.

2017
There are some voices
To which I cannot listen.
Fleeing Jeff Sessions.

He says "President Trump,"
And I shake my head because
It still seems surreal.

2015
Rio Grande hike, Pilar turnoff
2014
Wow
2013
To walk or to lounge?
Inertia is powerful.
I watch the hawk soar.
In the time it takes
To find my camera phone
The clouds change colour.
Oblivious (or
Indifferent) to humans,
Watching the sunrise.
2010
I hear a chainsaw.
The corner house with mean dogs
Has lost its hedges.

2009
damn. catching a cold. no No NO!!!

my sweetie is hosting at the homeless shelter tonight. i get to pretend I'm single and let Simone and carbon on the bed.
