2019 Droitwich
Appeals that succeed:
Who could resist this sweet face?
Plus, it stops the barks.

This is a public footpath, leading straight to the Hadley Bowling Green Inn, my walk’s destination

At this point the path disappears: I take the tractor road skirting the field

I was covered in tiny burrs after pushing through this hedge

Here I get locally made ice cream

I take the road back
Droitwich flowers

Sweetest scent ever

climbing a British hedgerow

2018
I’m buying ice cream
“Thank you for eating healthy”
The cashier tells me.
Progression of a storm: we watch clouds piling up, enjoying the play of light on the rocks. Back at the library, we hear the rain and thunder. Then....hail?! And a heavenly scent of bruised plants. My poor Forester is out in it, hood open to keep the pack rats at bay.
Minor flooding. So far. It’s been going on for an hour. Ice is melted, but rain pours down still. So much for sunset kayaking.

2017
See separate post for all the Huntingdon Garden pix.  I was gobsmacked

I'm getting sunburned
At the Huntington gardens.
But I am blissful.

2014
A clap of thunder;
And my tutoring session
Is disconnected.

Day 2: three positive things.....
1. Kakawa chocolate store: sample of to-die-for piñon caramel, 8 oz of persimmon peach ice cream.
2. San Marcos Cafe and Feed Store: shared eggs Benedict and cinnamon rolls.
3. Santa Fe Library: part 3 of Prof Briers' lectures on Ancient Egypt, plus Agatha's and B Mertz's takes on the subject

2013
The consensus is,
Karena has haircuts DOWN.
Worth a trip back home.
Molasses bread from
The Otis Cafe. Breakfast
In Albuquerque.

2012
They are interviewed:
"I'm just so proud of these girls."
Okay, we get it.

(Yes, I ask too much,
But can't they think for themselves?
Not to be bitchy.)
